A Wee Little Post

I’ve been really busy the last couple days.  The Sisters met for almost three hours on Tuesday night.  I read aloud the first two chapters.  It really is the best way to hear if it sounds right.  It also helps with punctuation.  But, it was quite warm in the room with my ears blushing that way.  Tonight I had a big writing assignment.  I likened it to gutting a fish.  Sounds nasty and smelly, right?  It sort of is.  I ate candy to make the whole thing less traumatic.  When this finally gets published, I’m going to have to thank Godiva on the vanity page for helping me get through it.  And then head my happy butt to a spa for liposuction.

There isn’t much to tell on the home front.  It’s the same old same old.  Lot’s of yelling which is deriguour for our house.  Hateful words were screamed by the six year old, and my honorable title of “Meanest Mom in the World” was upgraded to “Meanest Mom in the History of Moms”.  It’s nice that she can acknowledge that I’m really good at something.  I wonder, is there any prize money for that honor or is it just bragging rights?  I could make room for a trophy on my desk if that’s an option.
