Leave a Comment on Your Favorite Blog Day!
If you thought today was only intended to honor Christopher Columbus – boy are you wrong! Even more exciting than the banks and post offices being closed is the joyous fact that today is the day you get to leave a comment on your favorite blog. Of course, you can leave a comment on your favorite blog any old day, but today you get extra credit!
What’s on your mind?
Have you read anything here lately that you particularly agree with? Or disagree with? Or found particularly side-splittingly funny? Did your child pull a similar antic as ours or is it possible that your child even crazier? How is your
writing going? Did you read anything especially good lately? Or bad? Or Confusing? Is there another blog you visit regularly that we’d enjoy, too?
Today’s the day! Choose a post that speaks to you and click the Comment link below it. Honestly, it couldn’t be easier.
If you’re feeling like a total lunatic or are looking to secure your place in our very short list of people we’ll allow in Greece when we buy it, then leave two comments! Two! OH MY GOD – IT’S LIKE WE’RE CRAZY OVER HERE!
1:14PM – AVA adds: How can you not comment on the raccoon with a cat and a knife??? It’s not human to resist such an urge!!! Go ahead – comment. Now, before you forget or get distracted or move to a new state. I know what you’re thinking – where on Thor’s green earth does Amylynn find this stuff, where? So, go ahead – comment away. Really, just do it. We’re here for you and your comments. Don’t let us down. You don’t want us to cry do you? DO YOU???? Do you want to be responsible for that? I didn’t think so, because this would then be like a telethon instead of a comment blogfest and a comment blogfest won’t cost you a dime. Please.
Ah the passing of such young creative people. Steve Jobs, Marilyn Monroe, John Lennon, Jim Henson, many wonderful musicians. What a loss to the world. But hopefully these wonderful minds will live long in time because of the legacy that they left behind.
Hello Sisters! Have you heard from PETA yet about the knife wielding racoon threatening to kill the cat? What’s that? You had nothing to do it with it. The raccoon had you at knife point, too. That’s what I thought. I’m not a lawyer I just pretend to be one in books…amongst other things.
Martha brings up the subject of passing of such young creative people. I have been reading a great biography about the late guitarist Duane Allman titled ” Skydog” by Randy Poe. He was only on the first two Allman brothers Band records but he did a ton of studio work with artist from Aretha Franklin to Eric clapton(Derick and the Dominos) to Otis Rush to jazz flautist Herbie Mann to name a few. Even though his recording career was short lived he is still an inspiration to many guitarist 40 years after his death.
I’m late…. 10/10/11 marked the special day of “blogging”, i’m always a day late and a dollar short.
Never done this before but hey “what the heck, i’m sure it will be fun”
I love the way Amylynn’s blog’s mention her children and I was a huge fan of Bill Cosby’s old show…”Kids say the darndest things”…. Can’t find anything even remotely close to decent on TV anymore….wish someone would bring that show back :)….. Hanging out with my daughter (9 at the time) she tells me “Sally” hasn’t been at school all week Mom”, of course asking “Ohhhh why?” ( I don’t know “Sally” and probably never will but hey my daughter decided I was interesting enough to talk to instead of watching Disney Channel) I’ll go with the flow….she says “She got her Independence taken out” So I immediately identify the fun time I can have with this conversation.
OH the days when your children make you smile and give you memories that no one can take away. Of course we enjoying telling these stories over and over again and they wish we had short term memory loss 🙂
Blessed day for everyone,
Yesenia
I don’t even know how I ended up here, but I thought this post was good. I do not know who you are but certainly you are going to a famous blogger if you aren’t already 😉 Cheers!
